Exterior air pipework ?

I intend fitting an air "ring main" in my domestic garage and also extending it outside (where I do most of my work) under the carport.
Drifting towards using 1/2" galvanized steel pipework.
Obviously there will be water drains on every drop to outlet.
Is there any problem with airlines outside ?

Getting it nicked by Pikeys? I'd go for plastic myself. Make sure it's suitable for air and UV resistant.

A decent downhill slope away from the compressor should stop water building up and freezing. I have some horizontal copper pipes outside and they do freeze up in winter.

i dont like them they collect water in the coils and u loose volume with wound up pipes . strait flat runs are best

I've already got one and find my windy gun isn't as powerful as when using an ordinary hose.

Good to know, I'll stick with me normal airline for outside. Not that I use it much, prefer my own strength over a windy gun.

I'm not keen on the idea of outside airlines unless lagged in the winter?

I've got an auto rewind airline - there is a little bit of difference between fully unwound and partly unwound. I usually unwind the lot anyway, probably because I'm used to electrical extension leads

there ok but not for large volume use
