I wanted a cordless one and this is the chosen replacement to my mains one. I thought a review might be useful but note I have not used any of the proper branded die grinders.
It seems every bit as powerful as the Parkside but much better at low speeds. The parkside is 500w but I rarely use that on full.
The extended nose handle feels a lot more secure than without it for using burrs.
It doesnt have a spindle lock, so you use two spanners which is a bit of a pain for changing bits, but perhaps nicer to use as I often nearly accidently pressed it on the mains one.
The collet is different and is retained in the nut, not seen that type before but appears to be a Makita standard. Its not ER11 however the taper and size looks very, very close to it. It seems to grip very well and is better than the more common 3 slotted collets.
It is a different thread. Perhaps it can be converted to allow other sizes. Will have to open it to see if the output shaft is one peice or seperate to the motor.
It is a reasonable amount longer particually when used with my ER11 extension - the bench is 500mm square.
It has one major flaw in terms of the speed control. After plugging battery in or a few minutes of idle, it sets to full speed. You need to press the trigger to wake it up, before you can press the speed button to change it. If you have a tool in there unsuitable for 26k rpm and you forgot, it could explode before you remember to press the other button!
A light tap of the trigger will barely spin up and allow the speed to be changed.
Im testing it with a Fakita 4Ah battery that came with chainsaw kit, not genuine batteries.
