Fan now fitted to Arc welder (3 pics)

I have fitted the fan to the SIP Topweld 160 and want to make some sort of PLASTIC guard to go over it. I thought about something like a piece of plastic shopping basket or maybe something that is used in the kitchen like a drainer for the washing up?? There was not enough room to fit the fan inside the case.

It wants the top and bottom of the cowl blocking in so the air all goes where you want it. Some gaffer tape works well

agreed it will pull air from the easiest route could do with boxing in aswell that motor will be easily damaged
