Traced a fault back to a limit switch which should be normally closed. This one was permanently closed as it was full of dubious looking 'water'.![wink ;) ;)](/forum/styles/smilies/icon_wink.gif)
It is made by Burgess from Gateshead. Not trading over here now. For one reason and another i need to keep the same switch, at least the same body. There are some new old stock ones on ebay but they are different styles/functions. The micro switch inside does action, but is goosed. It has 'GV3' printed on it. I can get it working again by just changing the microswitch.
Two questions - can you take microswitches apart to repair/clean the terminals?
Can i buy a direct microswitch replacement - are they a standard size? Then i can just change the internals.
