Filter regulator question

I am about to finally install some hard lines for my compressor. It will get a mixture of use, tools and spraying. Only DIY garage stuff.

Should I get a filter with a lubricator ? I was thinking this is good for using the tools, but would that be ok for spraying ?

I was also thinking of fitting an inline dessicator dryer, but I am guessing that wouldn't be too clever with a lubricator ?

I'm a bit unsure which setup to go for ? What is best for both spraying & tools ?

No oil whatsoever in the pipes which will be used for spraying.

For DIY use just add a couple of drops of oil to the tool each day and keep the system clean.

You must keep lines used for spraying free from oil.

In your situation I wouldn't fit an oiler, just a squirt of oil in the air inlet on your tools every so often should do fine.

As said, no lubricator, Keep your hoses oil free. Any air tools can have a couple of drops of oil directly into the gun fitting before attaching the air line, pull the tool trigger while dropping in the oil, this will let it travel into the tool not creating a blockage,

same as the lads say, dont use a oiler if your going spraying, altho you could use an oiler at the end of the line and keep a marked hose for it alone, dont use any other hose on it so anything before the oiler will be free of oil and can be used for spraying.
or put your drier on after the compressor, the clean air connection after that and then the oiler after that and keep one hose just for spraying and the rest of your line is oiled.

i have a load of oilers here but i dont use any on my line in the workshop, as said alreay i just chuck some tool oil down its throat every now and again and ive had no problems yet, any connection on my line is oil free and relatively dry.
