first attempt at art/steel rose

So for a change I decided to try my hand at something more creative. Put together a stainless rose for the other half (Christmas present). Quite happy with the result apart from a few tool marks. Definitely enjoyed making it and keen to do a few more things in the new year.


Just need some inspiration

Tidy job. Prefer some sort of finish or tarnish myself normally on such things but this achieved something attractive

Tidy, leave it as it is, not too polished. Work marks? I think they are an important part of the finished item.

Once her friends see it they'll all want one. I made the wife a stainless steel rose last year and to date have made about 30, but I actually got paid for some. At present I'm struggling to make a bunch of copper tulips and finding them a lot harder than roses.
