Very true Steve but the none of them will be getting mince and tatties tonight though!Good welds, in fact great welds considering the cheap rods.
I am not half feeling left out with all these bargains people are getting at the moment, you with that machine, the new member with the £30 pillar drill and what do I find, a packet of mince half price in Iceland...life's not fair!
if those were your very first go's at MMA ever straight off I am very impressed, I suspect they are not. just needs a bit more burn time and you should be well up to speed on the flat
Nice to see it working well and you are picking up the skills. If you ever get stuck, my offer to pop over when I'm up that way always stands.
I thought you would get that baby working mate..loved the slow methodical elimination of each cause untill BINGO!!!. weldone and fab welds from this endThe TIG lives as well!
Got my Argon and Reg today and after a bit of a sort out I ran some lines without filler on a 3mm piece of stainless.
First line was at 6 on the power dial (10 is 120A), second and third lines where at 5.5 and looked good.
Forth line was at 9 and fifth at 2 just to check the current regulation as that was pointed out as a problem with the machine. Worked a treat and I enjoyed trying my first passes at TIG.
