Hi to all,
Just wanted to start by introducing myself and give a brief background on how I got here.
I started welding about a year ago when I bought a hardly used Lincoln Electric Compact 185 Mig Welder and fitted a new torch, regulator and wire just to be safe. I bought it ready for when I started my haynes roadster / locost project but I will post more about that in another thread.
Prior to this I had very little welding experience with only a few projects during school and college but since I have had my welder i have found no end of uses for it. I have also found it really useful working for a steel fabricator as not only has it been a great way to source materials i have found endless use to the knowledge and experience of the people who work there.
Have been onto this forum a few times and found it really useful and now that I have some of my own experience to share it was a good time to join up and become an active member.
Well hope that I will be able to help others soon and in the mean time will try add a few more posts in relevant areas.
