So here it is in all it's glory.
I decided I'd buch the trend with my first welding project and make a stand for my band saw rather then the obigatory welding trolley.
Things I'e learned - 1. I need more practice at welding.
and 2. having got most of the welding done but not having any threaded bar I realised while setting the welder up again once I had some threaded bar and it being all of 2 minutes of welding, I need a welding trolley and I now know why it's most peoples first project!
That also helps with lesson 1 about needing more practice so everyone is a winner!
(now to plan the welding trolley....)
