Fixing Pallet truck

What's the easiest way/ any pointers to fixing this old pallet truck? It's not pumping up and looks to have lost a lot of oil.

I might not get around to it for a couple of weeks but I could make an hour to investigate if I'm likely to need to order seals or source a specific oil.
I'm hoping to get it operational so it can live at a mate's who'll have more use and space for it than me.

cant see any maj oil leak......
but it's leval is the place to start........
if u have to take it aprt u'll have hours of fun undoing the bolts......
on my new one, removed each bolt in turn and fitted it again witha little oil on the threads......
make sure the relief lever /cable /chain is not holding the valve open....

My money for starters would go on topping it up with some 32 hydraulic oil and see where its losing it.

Theres usually a rubber bung on the opposite side of the ram casing to the handle. Top up oil level to the hole, control lever should have 3 positions, down is lift, middle is travel, up is lower, quite often its the adjustment that stops lifting.

Just to see if she's a runner or not, any clean oil would do, vegetable or mineral.

If it proves worth saving, it is easy to drain it and replace with the proper stuff.

As above, make sure it is not jammed or maladjusted into the lower position. You need to put the control lever into lift but also make sure that whatever the lever is supposed to pull or push on is actually pulled or pushed when you move it.
