My eldest son went to a car parade in Machynlleth last w/e with a friend and family,they went in style and drove in the parade over the mountain road by Dylife and staylittle ,it was welcoming as you can see,interestingly the lad on the right is a descendant of Richard Arkwright.
They had fun with the landys public address.Being a fan of older audis,and still owning a 2wd coupe,my favourite is the s2.

The s2 is a lovely car, probably the fastest car I have ever been in was a tweeked 5cylinder turbo s2.

In 1985, I got to drive the SWB ur-quattro that was at the motor show that year. Audi shipped it Emden-Ramsgate (where I was working for Tolemans) but had disabled the engine to stop anyone mucking about with it, so we had to push it on and off the truck. It ended up at their HQ in Milton Keynes where for some reason they had made it a runner again , so on its way back to Germany we got to play with it along the Sandwich bypass

I still miss my S2 nothelle n300. It was a great car that nearly got me into a lot of trouble on the bypass. Luckily it looked like a diesel estate to the untrained eye.

First rule of car shows - don't touch, don't lean on, unless invited!

Which is only one of the reasons I don't take any of my cars to shows very often.
