Much difference? Love the fleetwelds and their the only electrode I use for the root run on pipe, however I'm out and all stores have is the ESAB 6011's. Job I am on is not urgent and will wait if necessary till we get fleets in.

Do you know what the difference is between 10 & 11, look at what gear you use, this will determine what you require?

The only difference I am aware of is that 6010's are DC only 6011's are AC/DC. I don't mean to sound pedantic but I only asked for a comparison of use both rods are suitable for the job at hand I'm just unsure whether to hang on for the fleetwelds or use the ESAB's that we have in stores.

Yes, correct, but they are just a brand of rod, maybe with their own Idiosyncrasies, but a good hand will deal with this.
