Hi all, I’m new here still digging through all the past threads. Came for information to fix my tig (which I’ve received some great help with)
I used to tinker about with a bit of forge work in slow periods, granted they may be a little clunky compared to others haha but what the hell..

The silverery wire is plated copper stripped out of some scrap flex. I ran it through the gears of my little bead roller to crimp it into an even zig zag then squeezed the bends up tight and wound it around the centre piece. Just held with its own spring tension
