shirazman, i take it thats just 4/6mm round stock bent in a vice with a hammer?

No I used 8mm round for this one. I draw the bird out on the bench then tack the bar on the bench and heat it and bend it to suit the drawing. The problem with 6mm is as soon as you tack it anywhere or heat it it bends to quickly so I prefer 8mm.. just my preference but 6mm can be used
