Fortis no 10, help needed

Hi,

I’m just in the process of restoring my Dads Fortis Vice. I would like to have the vice jaws area milled flat. Can anyone help? I’m based in Leeds, not sure if anyone local (West Yorkshire) could do this work for me, or point me in the direction of a company who would do a small job like this.

I could possibly do it but it depends how big the vice is. Are you planning on fitting some serrated jaws?

Hi Fazerruss,

I would say the Vice is the same size as a Record 23. I haven't decided yet on Jaws, I will have to make my own. I was thinking of making some soft jaws from alloy. If you think you can help out that would be great
