Well here is my new post box , its taken up a lot of spare time over the last 12 months but its finally nearing completion.
Just to finish off the wiring, make a stand and possibly some more decoration in the form of pinstriping possibly, we'll see..

I had only set out to make a plain and simple postbox to play with a sheet metal bender id half built, but a quick web search ran me off course by quite a bit...

Well thats that , i will post more pics in the coming weeks when i have the wiring and the mounting ready and it being fitted.
I made it all from 2mm steel , bit of galv pipe, washers, a nail, roll pins, a wheel nut , bit of square bar , cleaned up with citric acid and 120 grit, wurth rust converter, wurth anti rust primer, 2k primer, ford grey matter 2k clear over water base coat.
Light fittings from rs online . Any questions happy to help

Worried it may get stolen?

Not really, i live in a fairly low crime part of the world, id be more worried about idle vandals damaging it , ill have two long m18 or m20 bolts holding it to a 10mm thick plate, welded to a railway rail, concreted in the ground, and my inverter will tighten the bolts just fine!
