I figured i`d better post in here since i seem to have jumped the gun and posted on other threads first.
I`m Troppo from Adelaide Aus, metal fab by trade and model maker/car restorer by hobby. I`ve been working as a motorbody builder for the last 10 years or so doing a lot of repair and custom work (over here most new builds are more like large model kits than anything needing real metal skills).

Some of the work on cars i`ve seen here and on other forums really impresses me, we get our share of rust down here but you guys must feed your tinworms on steroids lol.

Was just looking at your album, some nice work, especially liked the lorry that you kitted out as a workshop, also, nice attention to detail with the models.

Thanks Delgado, that truck was an onsite maintenance van for a mine, under the cabinets at the front theres a 300 litre fuel tank, a 300 litre water tank and a 400 litre oil tank all with pnumatic pumps and dedicated hose reels under the body

Welcome to the forum from another "green oval" fan. Like the model, are you replicating the galvanised strips or is it a trick of the light?

Thanks mate, its just a trick of the light, i had thought about doing the caping by glueing some aluminium foil in place but i didnt think it would be worth the work. I`m still thinking of painting it on but thats for another day lol
