I was using my Cebora Pocket Turbo 130 the other day, when the disposable gas regulator suddenly started releasing all the gas and at the same time something in the mig torch went pop. I quickly turned the reg off, but it didn't stop the gas leaking, so had to remove the reg to stop it.
I opened up the torch and looks like the black top to the brass cube (see pic here - http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/710-5...ep_vectorid=229508&kwid=902099&mtid=824&kw=lg) had popped off. I put it all back together, and screwed the reg back on, but it just started leaking gas again.
I went and picked up another reg (SIP) from Halfords, screwed it on, and the problem was solved.
Looks like my old reg has split a seal of something inside. Gutting, as it had a gauge on it, whereas the new one doesn't - although it does look like something can be screwed onto it?
Anyway, is the black top to the brass cube supposed to be a loose push fit, for safety reasons when too much gas is passed through, or is it knackered? It's working ok, but just wanted to check.
