This in bucket loads. I would imagine corrosion could be an issue as well.I can only think the creators have never had to clean anything in a bathroom - or they wouldn't be making things with all those crevices.
Flat, smooth, crevice free for quick and easy cleaning.

We had one of those engines crated up and sitting in the corner of one of the garages I worked at about twenty years ago.Top gear had a 12cyl Jag engine block for a coffee table I think......
IMAGINE if it were a RR. Merlin.......I'd love to own one of those.....
Some 30 years ago I knew a Norwegian guy in the Philippines who earned a crust buying old yank cars, after the US air base closed down, and slicing the front and rear ends off, to make some sort of sofa things out of. The rest of the car he’d scrap. If he knew what money those sort of cars are selling for now he might wish he’d kept them in one piece. After being involved with cars for donkeys years I can never understand why people want old car bits pretending to be furniture or household items.Same for things like a tyre with a bit of glass on top pretending to be a coffee table.
