Glass Grit for blasting?

I been offered a big amount of crushed glass for free!

But how does it performe against aluminum oxide, which is really aggressive. Can it be used on heavy rust ect. Or is it only for aluminum

we used it a few weeks ago on bronze

didnt seam very aggressive

Depends on the grit size. It can be very aggressive. I've never used aluminium oxide, but I use glass for paint & rust and keep recyling it until it ends up as dust in my filters. Glass breaks up on impact.

Glass I've found to be really aggressive, I've used kiln dried sand cheap and gentle, oh and always use a mask

its great on ally and fine rust removal and as a bonus u can still use it after use for block paving

Are you confusing glass beads with crushed glass grit?
