glasses

is this the most stupid question ever?

Im short sighted, have been for years. Mum said it would make me blind....

But about to get an auto helmet, will i be able to wear glasses comfortably underneath it?

And i have some glasses with reacing lenses, will this be proble/benefit or just make no difference with welding and choosing helmet?

I don't have any problem. Mine are reactolites and they don't darken at all.

I sometimes leave my safety glasses/ goggles on under the lid if I'm rushing so there's plenty of room!!

I wear reacting glasses and use an auto helmet - with no difference nor problems. It is 'too dark' indoors for the glasses to react and there is plenty of room inside the helmet for glasses (I'm reminded of the pair Dennis Taylor wore for a time back in the day - I doubt they would fit however!).
