Glue/adhesive for composite deck to metal?

Is there a good adhesive suitable for gluing composite deck to metal? The bits i need to glue are not load bearing they are vertical finishing strips on the edges and steps of a balcony.

Anything weight bearing or structural is screwed down.

Much as I love epoxy I would just use some sort of sealant/adhesive like sikkaflex or similar for this apllication.

Given the amount I need to do, it will need to be in a large tube that I can use with a silicon gun. Mixing small pots of epoxy components isnt really going to work with this. There are 13 steps and the balcony is 17' long and 9' wide so will need lengths that long fixing to the sides.

The Oak coloured CT1 looks like it could do the job.

Sikaflex is often my go to, but i thought i would ask if someone had used something more appropriate.

Tiger seal is polyurethane based ct1 is silicon based I believe

Usually a blend between your usual acrylic sealant and cyanoacrylic adhesive, although some are urethane/acrylic too

tek 7 is my go to , but 3m do a car panel adhesive , its one of those twin cartridge packs , but lotus use it , windscreen glue is mighty stuff too , but you have to use the primer etc and follow the instructions.

The other option is Arbokjol 1000, one part polysulphide, unlike polyurethanes like Sikaflex it takes some days to cure but sticks like the proverbial to a blanket & lasts years & years. The two part version is even stickier, we used to use that to bond decks on yachts & i have never heard of a failure. It got everywhere & was simply known in the yard as "Black ****".

Stixall was the original polymer hybrid. I used it ten years ago to stick brick slips to a false wooden chimney stack, then pointed them with mortar afterwards. They are all still up there !

Not tried CT1 yet but I am told it is good stuff.

One advantage with CT1 & this type of sealant, it doesn’t go off in the tube like silicone, it stays usable for ages, It is a different curing process, it doesn’t smell of vinegar.

Sikaflex or Tigerseal are my go to sticky stuffs. Not much they don't fix permanently
