Just introducing myself, I'm a welding service Engineer based on South-coast of England.
Worked for a large welding supply company for 10 Years before going it alone 2 years ago.
Just stumbled across this site whilst browsing the web.

Welder/generators.

Validation to BSEN 50504
Electrical safety tests to BSEN 60974

Custom panels, controls and remotes

Work on Kemppi, Miller, butters, Migatronic, Esab....basically anything from leading manufacturers right down to Hobby equipment.

Had brief dealings with them (think I've repaired 2) Over priced for what they are in my opinion....

Yes it lost its TIG function, and the MMA only working for a little before arc problems.

Given so stands me at nowt.

Sounds like could be IGBT problem or the board controlling it.
Sounds like you've lost DC negative if Tig doesn't work at all but MMA still starts.
