Hello too all, thought I would introduce myself here, I'm a Marine Engineer and am currently "restoring a Land Rover" along with a few other planned fabrication projects in the pipeline whilst on leave. Basically I require a mig set and am leaning towards a Portamig 185, also require a oxy/acet cutting gear. My main experience of welding sets are Unitor equipment (as I work offshore), would appreciate any advice etc on the above. Thanks

Welcome to the forum, I bought a Portamig from Weldequip a year ago, would I do the same again if time went back...without a doubt, great machine.

if you are only using OA for cutting, would a plasma cutter be an option? easier to live without the OA bottle rental....
