Hi, my name's Dave and i'm a Mechanical Engineer and hobby welder.

I was taught to MIG about 9 years ago, but haven't practiced for about 7 years when I lost access to the set I was borrowing from work.

Bought myself a Lidl MMA/TIG set yesterday so i'll be learning how to TIG over the next few months, once i've got a bottle of Argon and a regulator.

Not technically a Pompey lad, I was born in Norfolk but came here for University and never left.

Next year I'll have lived here longer than Norfolk though.
