Hey, happy new year

I currently have a compressor hooked up to a slave tank (25L gas bottle)
BUT, I want MORE!
If I buy another compressor and hook that up to a slave tank, Then hook everything up -
So 2 compressors 2 slave tanks
Should I let each compressor do half of the whole system or should I have a switch so that it switches between the two - thus giving a compressor time to cool before kicking in again.

Opinions and recommendations ?

Have them both filling both tanks if one compressor won't supply your needs by itself.

How do you use your air? Continuously (as in blasting) or in short bursts of high demand (impact drivers &c)?

as said above depends on what your doing with it. large volume continuous use have them both running with both tanks. low use just use the one . i use a large tank with a twin motor and pump setup for blasting and a 14cfm compressor for small or intermittent use also a portable tank that can be used for cooling in line or blowing tires up outside

join the tanks at full pressure and connect with quick couplings and a decent bore whip tail in between and a ball shut off valve . leave open and run both comps filling both tanks for large volume use . for low use just disconect one and run the other

I use it for impact drivers, drills etc
I will have both of them filling up the two extra slave tanks then (more or less one big tank)
