Thought it would only be polite to say hello before I started any threads.
I have an eclectic collections of welders, SIP 130 much modified, extra psu and pwm motor driver, Transmig 110 with extra low range, Oxford arc unit with Eutectic rectifier and choke unit and eutectic tig unit, oxy mapp for brazing.
Most of my welding is for vehicle repairs to my 1996 fairway driver taxi (my car) 1962 Morris Minor - restoration project for my daughters 17th 14 months and counting. I also have an interest in classic buses and one of my projects is cast iron weld repair of a cracked water jacket on a1962 AEC Regent V.
I work as a telecoms engineer by day, good training for modifying and fixing welders.
Most of my welding training has been nightschool and I have been lucky to work with many good welders who have taught me along the way.
