Well here it is my first in a long time due to a nasty marriage break up. This is a commission for a local lady for her husbands birthday. I painted it with zinc silicate which is the perfect colour so I thought i would give it a paint job which im quite pleased with. I always avoided Herons cos you go to any garden centre and they are everywhere but as the lady pointed out my sculptures are unique and not mass produced crap, a nice compliment I thought. Hoe you all like it

I used 15mm round bar the built the knees up with weld then scored them with the plasma cutter

I know what you mean about making work that is like mass produced garden centre stuff. Just have to be different enough to set yourself apart, which you do with your bird sculptures!!
