Grit blast supplier south of London?

Hi all, does anyone know of a grit supplier that's in the Surrey/Sussex/Kent area?
I've previously had the odd couple of 25kg bags delivered but the postage costs are absurd. I've seen you can buy 25kg glass beads for only £7 but again the postage is a killer.
If I had the need I'd get a pallet but I'm only a hobbyist and I'm nearing the end of a resto so another few bags should see me through to the end I hope.

They are the very big (something like 30kG) bags - say a tenner each

Hmm, that's a little different to what I have been using, I'm blasting car suspension parts, steel wheels etc, would it be Ok for that? I've previously used Aluminium Silicate.
Assuming that's OK then yes, I'd take a couple of bags.

I would imagine it will. I've used it on plant and machinery including steel cupboards but you must make you're own mind up as to suitablity

OK, thanks. Just need to check the pot I have will be OK with the bigger size, I notice the spec for this is 0.2-1.5mm. Will let you know tomorrow.

copper slag or coal slag there both expendable abrasives and do the same job theres diffrent grade sizes if your gears small u want fine or superfine

Hi Andrew, Well unfortunately this media proved to be too big for my little blast pot. I did open out the metering valve a little but was cautious to go too mad in case I make it unusable in some other way. Thanks anyway, I enjoyed the chat and visit to your place!
