Right, well i am a 30 y.o newbie.
Background education : few applied physics degrees, which i doubt would ever be usefull unless one of you guys is masochistic enough to feel like it!! More plans to study BA and MA in French education (I am French by the way!!)
I am getting into welding as i have been toying with the idea to build my own bike frames for a while, whether BMX, road bikes, MTB, bicycle chopper, tricycle, recumbent..etc.This invariably implies that i will also be building various jigs too. Ultimately i am planning on building chopepr bicycle which can be retrofit with some kind of motorisation, whether electric or 4-strokes. Ideally I’d like to end up building motobike chopper / total custom frames.
So i am quite happy to be enlightened by your knowledge, whatever this maybe.
I am going to enroll in a welding course in February so all should be well – touch wood - . In the meantime I have posted a couple of thread related to welder and purchase of raw materials.
