Gys multiweld

Hi new to mig welding, would a Gys multiweld 200 be ok as a first mig welder. On a farm making gates and that sort of thing. Will go to inverter stick if on heavy steel. New to mig welding so unsure on duty cycle. Not wanting to spend over £650. Cheers

Still seems a good price. And should do any farmy shed stuff you desire! Just check the minimum current before you buy for thin stuff. Couldn't see a figure when I looked.

Is that for the 200M or the 200M-C ? Either way, it is a good price, and with a local supplier you will ( hopefully ) get support and backup if you need it.

I’ve decided to go with a cross arc 201c the duty cycle on the gys is only 15% @ 200a where as the cross arc is 60% @200a. Tbws been very helpful and very reasonable price.
