hanging basket thingies

I was asked a while back to make a pair of hanging basket holders to a friends design.

I quite liked the design and he is happy for me to make them and sell them.
I then came up with a couple of others.

All very simple stuff, quick to make and things I can fit in around commission work for shows etc.

Luckily I can get them galvanized through some guys just up the road who make garden furniture. made of 20x5mm strip and top ones have 30x5mm for the bottom rail.

my friend was after something contemporary that did not involve scrolls or 'twiddliness'.

I really like those, especially the curved one's.

I think they could suit both period and modern buildings, not many hangers manage that.

my missus asked me to make some recently, i nipped into the 99p store for milk shortly after she asked and they had them in there so I bought them.

Glad you like them guys.
The first ones were made for a mate who is a designer, I liked the idea so made a few more using offcuts of 20x5mm strip.
We were after something contemporary looking that would fit anywhere without like new/old style stuff.
to bend the strip I used the edge bending tool on my metalcraft Power bender.
Here it is being used to bend 30x5mm strip on edge.
