have compressor-no air output!!!

hi -have an old and small electric pioneer air compressor,type mk 105-10-0.75 from clark/machine mart. werent very helpful there-
it switches on ok. pumps up with air ok. but has teeeny tiny amount of air output.
what do i have to check please???
is it down to dirt somewhere?
have drained and cleaned tank and plug

Hi Steveb If you are only getting a small amount of air out even though you have turned the output reg right up then I would suspect the reg is blocked or stuck. You could drain the air out of the tank and strip the regulator but you might be better off just replacing it, cos you will prob loose a bit from inside as you strip it!. But if you have nothing better to do then might be worth a go. Chances are the diaphram/needle is stuck/sticking.
