Hi All,
Looks a good forum - looking forward to a bit of light reading here.
I've done a bit of DIY welding, but now I'm thinking of going to night school for some bits of paper, namely G&G level 1, then 2. I'm hoping this will make me employable.
I've got a bit of an engineering background, but that wasn't very hands on. After 12 years of studying then working in aerospace and car industries, I had a go at tree surgery, then forestry. I'm self employed now, and have been for 10 years - the work's great, but the pay stinks, and I feel the backside's about to totally drop out of the industry very soon, so I'm hoping for another career change.
My only worry's my age. I'm not young any more at 47, so I've "only" got another 17 years work left in me.
