hello there i have been welding in the tool making industy for 4 years now but have no qualifications i am wondering what is the best option for me as i would like to get on the big bird and fly away. my mig welding is good and my tig welding is coming along nicley any ideas would be appreicated cheers

You can earn good money still in the UK at welding IF, your good and you can get some codings behind you. If you are thinking of emigrating to somewhere like Oz, then you will need some formal qualifications in your trade, so I would say, get intouch with your local college and do a City and Guilds course and NVQ etc.
If you just want to work as a welder else where in Europe, formal qualifications are not really an issue, but you would still need to be able to weld to a coded standard and will be required to take a welding test prior to being offered a job.
