Hi All,

Got my welder today (Cheers Gav!). So will be on the forum quite a bit now so thought I'd say Hello!

Thanks to Woz & Gav a few months ago now for the lessons in Mig Welding, I can now get on & start the body on my '88 VW Golf Caddy pickup.

Plans are: 2.0ltr 8v engine, full restoration with a few unique touches

Still think I've thrown myself in the deep end with this project - it being my first!

the learning curve may be steep but by the sounds of it you will cope well keep us updated, plenty of pics are mandatory
