Hi all,
I'm new to the forum.
I bought my first and current welder, a SIP Inverter Weldmate 170, 5-6 years ago to help with restoring my then rotten Land Rover Defender chassis. It practically paid for itself on that job alone, since then I've used it for occasional small jobs (old gates, making DIY pullers for bearings etc). I must confess that I've been prompted to join the forum largely by the fact that said welder is now broken and I need advice! But i also have a desire to learn more about TIG in particular as I have completed a beginners course a year ago and would like to buy one once I have a project to justify it!
Thanks,
Larry.
