I'm fairly new to the forum, have lurked for a while and decided I should sign up

Hopefully get a mig welder ordered this week and then I can start welding I have a rusty metro that requires a fair amount of work, typical old Rover!

I used to know every single piece of metal that went into a Metro - worked in Body-In-White at Longbridge for 15+ years.

I am looking at getting a Clarke 160TM from Weldequip this week

But is it an old Austin Metro or the later Rover Metro ( 100 series )
