Hello, another noob here.

Hi everyone, I've been reading this very informative forum for a few weeks now and I thought I should take the plunge and sign up.

I'm completely new to welding, and I'm hoping to learn so I can do the occasional odd job around the place instead of having to rely on others.

I've bought myself an I-Mig180, which seems to be well thought of in it's price bracket, the safety gear, and just need a supply of gas and some scrap metal now, so I can put in some practice.

I apologise in advance for all the daft questions I'll probably be asking.

Thanks for the welcome robotstar. Got set up with my welding gas today, got all the ppe, not all that's left is get hold of some scrap metal and have a go.
