hello to everybody on the forum,my names phil and ime new to the forum ,ime not a proffesional welder ,but did learn to weld at college as part of my mechanics apprenticeship and have used my welding periodically over the past 20 odd years in the motor trade,ime currently involved in a project along with my son uprating the engine on his offroad buggy from a 250cc engine to a kawasaki zxr 750 motor ,and my oxford welder mig 170 has been playing up and ime hoping that i might be able to get some help from the forum .

Sounds like you have a great project on the works mate. As for your welding, theres welding tutorial vids available on the net. watch a few of them to get the basics in your head and then practice, practice, practice. You will be surprised how quickly it comes back to you and some time practicing will improve the quality easily enough
