iv been welding for a while now mostly cars and motor bikes. The type of material iv been welding is mostly mild steel mostly thin material to the thickest being 3mm for the bikes.
i am based in scotland near glasgow
I am used to welding with gas or mig but occasionaly i have used a stick welder,
mostly on a hobby bassis
iv got two sip top mig golden oldies but still work great
The big red man was really nice to me at christmas i got a tig welder. For years i have said need to get one as this would help me alot.
So my beloved got me a cebora tigstar 16p
i turned it on last week to give it a shot and havent got a clue how to set it up or what todo with it
It doesnt have a foot pedal
so was kinda of hoping someone on here could help me to set this up please

Have you read through the TIG tutorials on this forum? (Tutorials: TIG on the green bar at the top of every page)

thanks for getting back to me yes i have read through this but i understand the welding side of it
the problem is the setting the tig


sorry didnt realise till my son showed me there was another bit to the tig tutorials so now have the TIG WELDING FAQ so will have a read through this thanks
but probably i will ask some more questions

computers are majorly not my thing as you have probably guessed
this site is so full helpful information
i never knew about pop-ups so missed them when i looked over them in the tutorials
