[Muggins the Mug]

I forgot to introduce myself earlier on, so I'm going to correct that error. I'm a very novice welder from Ayrshire in SW Scotland. I'm called Muggins the Mug because I bought a cheap welder after reading the horror stories about it. I thought "what the hell, give it a bash for £40", big mistake. But you've probably read about that elsewhere.

nope, been plans to float it to australia, england all over the place. then there was a mystery benifactor that was going to sponsor the rebuilding, got the deck covered so its a bit more water tight but the investigation showed it was so rotton about 90% of the ship would need to be replaced! so whoever it was puled out as it wasnt realy a restoration rather than building a new ship.
far as i know its going to get broken up, also issues with the fact the slip way its on is owned by ayrshire metal who shut down years ago. is a shame, right outside my house!

The City of Adelaide aka HMS Carrick is still on the slipway belonging to the now defunct Ayrshire Metals, slowly rotting away. From what I remember North Ayrshire Council has something to do with the fate of it as well as the Scottish Maritime Museum, although I'm not 100% sure about all the politics surrounding it.
