Excellent site here. Just purchased a Decastar 150E, and I am now going to try and restore a 1956 Plymouth Savoy. I look forward to reading all the tips offered in your forum section. The actual website is packed with great information. Now it is practise time on the welder. Take care.

Welcome to the forum. The Plymouth looks like it hasn't been messed around with too much from the photos. Looks like a fun project. Is there much work required underneath?

Thank you for the welcome. And yes there is some work to be done on the floor area and trunk. Unfortunately our weather here in Alberta has turned cold so there may be more work than meets the eye...
I do know that the drivers side rear quarter will need partial replacment, along with totally missing rockers on the passenger side.
Oh well the car is 50 years old this year, so I guess thats really to be expected. On the plus side the motor and powerflyte auto trans are in great shape.
I will post more pictures as work gets going...In the mean time I am doing lots of reading and hope to get some practice in on the welder...
