I am new here and I type but in one finger mode,,
I have a dead SIP MIGMATE 150 TURBO I am trying to get it working again, I cant get a control board
circuit diagram but I have looked at a very close one off the forum but its not exact,
mine has MIG04 on its track side,
I think the problem is the main transformer side,, can anyone tell me how I can test it without blowing the house up, I have found the primary has four wires connected in series and each joint is a tapping point, a dc meter shows a very low resistance that tells me the thing is not open circuit,
I know a little of electronics but I give mains a wide berth and avoided it upto now I need to know what the dc volts after the rectifier are,
I have found a burned out diode but the other five seem ok,, so it will do until I can fix,
does any one know how to test the transformer what I need do to fix it
