Hello from Edinburgh

Hello!

I'm Jamie, 21 years old from Edinburgh.

I recently picked up a sip migmate 105 from a mate for £30 as i'm interested in learning to weld but didn't want to spend a fortune!

My first project that I have just started is making a wee trolley for my welder/helmet/gas etc so il post photos up later of how that goes! I don't really know what i'm really going to be using the welder for if i'm honest but its a useful thing to have, maybe have a shot at making a buggy if some mates and I get a chance!

Is there anyone else around the Edinburgh area with a lathe? Also where is cheap and friendly to get materials from?
