Hey!
I'm 19 turning 20 next month.
Before you rip me a new one... I was born in England. So cut me some slack =D
In the next few months I'll be doing a 6 month full time course in metal fabrication. And once thats done hopefully chase a boilermaker apprenticeship or something similar (at Australian Submarine Corporation hopefully)
Will be buying a welder once the course starts, most likely a mig.
Anywho joined here to try give me a slight head start, pick up some knowledge keen to learn as much as possible. Seems like a well structured forum.
I've done some oxy acetylene welding and was the top of the class (that was 4-5 years ago though)
Welding and metal work was one of the things I truely enjoyed at school.
I own a Chrysler 1969 VE Regal that has some surface rust aswell as some serious business. Which I wouldn't mind giving a crack. I want to teach myself to restore cars in my spare time.
Anywho thought I'd do a quick intro and say hey.
Look forward to learning loads!
