Used to weld full time, lots of shopfitting and 50000+ ceiling access panels under my belt. Done some heavier stuff too, plant repairs etc and a few mot repairs, including my XR3i for three years on the bounce until it died on me.
Kit used was a three phase 250amp migatronic and a 500amp arcmaker which spoilt me somewhat.
Have purchased a weld wizard 180 and am impressed with how smooth it is for a small plant, lightweight too so good for in and out of the car as i intend to carry it to little jobs.
Just got a bit of a power supply(13amp) issue at the moment, which brought me to join the forum.
