Hello all, I'm new to welding, always wanted to give it a go so my wife bought me a Lincoln Easy MIG 140 for my birthday 4 months ago. I'm always doing projects and got really tired of trying to bolt everything together. She also hired an instructor to come over and spend 6 hours with me on set up, basic safety, etc. I've been practicing and done a couple of projects. So far I've only used flux core wire and haven't actually done MIG. I'm going to get a tank so I can do either.
My other hobbies are fly fishing, hiking, four wheeling, hunting, camping and pretty much anything outdoors. I live here with my wife and dog who both are big parts of my life.
I look forward to learning and getting better at this. I have access to quite a bit of scrap to practice on so I'm lucky in that respect.
