Hello from Sussex

Hi, I have a Jasisc200P AC/DC that has been good for ages but has now just learnt a new trick, it has turned the HF on whilst idle and will now not turn it off whatever I do, it just comes on all the time with the power on/off switch.

I am hoping someone may be able to point me in the right direction.

Don't know your machine, but is sounds like a stuck relay or it's electronic equivalent.

Hi I'm in Buxted, and that's along the lines of my thoughts as it does sound like a contactor clonks either on or off when I power the machine on.

If it's not under warranty, whip the cover off and see if anything is obvious. Google around for circuit diagrams.

A dumb one I know but have you tested the HF switch itself? Nice and easy to do and you never know you might strike lucky.
