Hay everyone, I'm Dan and I live on a small island called Lewis in the outer hebrides of Scotland.
I've been mig welding for many years, mostly on cars, both mechanical and body work sides, and of course played about making crazy things! So most of my experience is thin sheet metal work and exhausts!
After about 10 years in the garages I decided to go and try something different so now I'm working for a fabrication and engineering company. Enjoying it massively, learning loads of things all the time and always adding to my welding experience.
Outside of work I'm always in the garage welding something so maybe I'll put some project threads up so you can see what I'm up to and I can get your opinions.

I guess when you grow up here you get used to these sorts of travel times and the place just feels small.
